We needed a full roof overhaul on our period cottage (230 years old) and although not a listed building, there were a number of features I wanted retained and methods of repair used. These included a restoration of one of the chimneys which was looking rather sorry for itself. It now looks like a beautifully restored old chimney rather than a new replacement. We also did not want wholesale replacement of the tiles as the majority of the clay tiles were in good condition. Adrian was able to source reclaimed replacements which not only blended in perfectly but at a very reasonable price. Adrian was more than happy to take on and fulfil our requirements and I have been very impressed with the quality of workmanship, the attention to detail and willingness to accept our requirements. There were no issues when the scope of work crept slightly as we added installation of Velux windows to the job. The materials used were of a very high quality. I am also glad I took his advice of having deep fill guttering as the rain recently has been somewhat impressive in volume. The solar panels in the photos were installed after Adrian had finished.
I had a problem with my roof and called a couple of other roofing "experts" to resolve but all they seemed to do was to make it worse. We called Adrian and he came round and inspected and identified the problem within 10 minutes. He Sent a written quote along with a fair price, which I accepted and they came and did the work. That was 10 years ago and all has been dry and I know its been fixed especially with all the heavy rains we had at the start of 2014. We also took photos and let us have them to show the quality of his work, so i've decided to upload one. Great service and friendly team, would recommend.
Great service. Adrian spotted some crumbing mortar under the copping stones when replacing my neighbour's roof. He fitted in a simple repair after he'd completed the work next door (and at a reasonable price). Looking at the before and after photos, I'm glad it was sorted before it caused a major issue. I know who to contact the next time I need some roofing work done.
