During our recent visit to Liskeard, we stumbled upon the delightful Bean Coffee Café, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to escape the rain. Despite the weather, the atmosphere inside was warm and welcoming. We decided to try the ham and cheese sandwich on granary bread, and what a fantastic choice it was! The sandwich was fresh and tasty. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were served promptly without compromising on quality. I enjoy this coffee shop. An ideal place to stop if you’re in town, for a bite to eat or just a coffee. Always friendly, welcoming staff, that are always on hand with swift and personal service. The food is very tasty and the coffee is lovely. As a dog owner, I often struggle to find decent coffee shops that accept dogs, but here they are welcomed as much as the humans, and I’m always asked if they would like some treats. Highly recommend this place.

Bean Cafe is a little gem in an unexpected place. We often visit Liskeard on our way to or from other places and pop into Bean for a cream tea because it's become a family favourite. The scones are delicious and the coffee is good.
Liskeard has lots of little antiques and curiosity shops and a good selection of charity shops so it's a great place if you like eco friendly shopping.
